Meet Mr. Corey Holm

Corey Holm

What is your teaching assignment at Wright?

Assistant Administrator & Development Director. I also get the privilege of teaching the 8th Grade Bible class.

Bachelors degree in Business Management from Ohio Christian University

What brought you to Wright?

From the moment I heard about Wright Christian Academy I knew I wanted to be a part of this wonderful ministry. When an opportunity came up, I didn’t hesitate to jump in.

What was your first-ever job?

When I was 13 years old, my brothers and I worked for a potato farmer in North Dakota.

What do you do in your spare time/special interests/hobbies?

I love traveling, BBQing, gardening, eating, reading and watching movies, but none of these are truly that enjoyable without my favorite people. What I enjoy most of all is spending time with my wife Raissa and our 3 boys, Wyatt, Bennett, and Edison.

I also really enjoy hanging out with family and friends. Raissa and I have been blessed to both come from large and wonderful families. We love getting to hang out with them and thoroughly enjoy watching all of our nieces and nephews grow up.

Guiding scripture of spiritual thought:

None of us is beyond redemption and none of us is above reproach.

I have loved this quote for most of my adult life because it is a beautiful reminder that we will never be good enough and will always have a need for a Savior. We will never be too far gone, and our Savior will always welcome us back home.

What else do you want the WCA Community to know about you?

I am a 4th generation North Dakotan Farmer, only I live in Oklahoma and my farm is actually just a garden bed in my backyard.

I was once struck by lightning while driving through Wyoming, which explains why I am so electrifying.

I will finish by saying that there are a plethora of reasons why Wright Christian is so dear to me, but one of the most important reasons is because it was founded by so many people I love. Many of my family members helped pave the way to make it possible to provide a wonderful education, while at the same time develop a young person who is devoted to God. Now, my little gentlemen get to reap the benefits of their grandparents’ hard work. To me, that is a priceless and beautiful thing.
